METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

FVV-0055-A is a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. In service, this v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or amines.
