METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

APG stocks the FVV-0070-A, a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. A v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
