APG stocks the FVV-0080-A, a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. A v-ring seal installs without tools and seals against the face of a housing or bearing.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and chemical processing.
