METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

FVV-0085-A is a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. In service, this v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
