METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

FVV-0130-A is a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. In service, this v-ring seal protects a main seal by keeping abrasive contamination away from the sealing lip.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.
