METRIC FLUOROELASTOMER V SEAL TYPE A

The FVV-0190-A is a Viton® (FKM) Type A V-Ring Seal. This v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
