Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
