The H1.5X92 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 92 mm (3.622 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 95 mm (3.74 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and water. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or ketones call for a different compound.
