8-006 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

HB90006 is an AS568-006 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm). In service, this back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

This material stands up to water, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ketones are present.
