8-027 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

APG stocks the HB90027, an AS568-027 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). A back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material holds up against many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or polar solvents are present.

It sees regular use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment.
