8-032 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

The HB90032 is an AS568-032 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.864 in (47.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.004 in (50.9 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, water, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or polar solvents are present.
