8-146 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

The HB90146 is an AS568-146 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm). This back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists many alcohols, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).

It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and construction equipment.
