8-201 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

This back-up ring is supplied in AS568-201 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm), catalogued under part number HB90201. It bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, water, and hydraulic fluids.
