8-384 BLACK BUNA 90D BACK-UP RING

HB90384 is an AS568-384 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). In service, this back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It resists greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
