568-016 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70016, an AS568-016 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Verify compatibility before use with strong oxidizing acids or esters.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
