568-011 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

Ordered as HS70011, this is an AS568-011 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.301 in (7.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.441 in (11.2 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, engine timing systems, and heavy-duty powertrain.
