568-116 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70116 is an AS568-116 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.737 in (18.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.943 in (23.95 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. It resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and automotive air conditioning.
