*568-153 BLACK HNBR HSN70 O-Ring

The HSN70153 is an AS568-153 black HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.487 in (88.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.693 in (93.8 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.
