568-212 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

Ordered as HS70212, this is an AS568-212 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.859 in (21.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.137 in (28.88 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
