568-240 BLACK HNBR HSN70 O-Ring

The HSN70240 is an AS568-240 black HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.734 in (94.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.012 in (101.9 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones or esters are present.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
