568-349 BLACK HNBR HSN70 O-Ring

HSN70349 is an AS568-349 black HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.895 in (124.33 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Verify compatibility before use with strong oxidizing acids or esters.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
