Ordered as HSN70371, this is an AS568-371 black HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids are present.
