The HS70901 is an AS568-901 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
