HSN (HNBR) 80 568-016

HSN80016 is an AS568-016 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
