HSN (HNBR) 80 568-108

APG stocks the HSN80108, an AS568-108 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.237 in (6.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.443 in (11.25 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Verify compatibility before use with chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
