HSN (HNBR) 80 568-225

APG stocks the HSN80225, an AS568-225 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.859 in (47.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.137 in (54.28 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids.
