APG stocks the HSN80234, an AS568-234 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or ketones will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
