HSN (HNBR) 80 568-378

The HSN80378 is an AS568-378 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.895 in (276.73 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, excellent abrasion and tear strength. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones call for a different compound.
