HSN (HNBR) 80 568-013

Part number HSN80013 is an AS568-013 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.426 in (10.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.566 in (14.38 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to heat and oxidation, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.
