HSN (HNBR) 80 568-111

APG stocks the HSN80111, an AS568-111 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.424 in (10.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.63 in (16 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material holds up against ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include engine timing systems, automotive air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration.
