HSN (HNBR) 80 568-114

The HSN80114 is an AS568-114 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.

Common environments for this compound include heavy-duty powertrain, automotive air conditioning, and engine timing systems.
