HSN (HNBR) 80 568-148

The HSN80148 is an AS568-148 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with esters or strong oxidizing acids.
