Part number HSN80217 is an AS568-217 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
