Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or esters.
