HSN (HNBR) 80 568-230

The HSN80230 is an AS568-230 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.484 in (63.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.762 in (70.15 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and engine timing systems.
