Ordered as HSN80232, this is an AS568-232 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or ketones.
