HSN (HNBR) 80 568-244

HSN80244 is an AS568-244 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.234 in (107.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.512 in (114.6 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
