HSN (HNBR) 80 568-248

APG stocks the HSN80248, an AS568-248 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The compound resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.
