The HSN80259 is an AS568-259 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.234 in (158.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.512 in (165.4 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material holds up against ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Verify compatibility before use with ketones or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
