Ordered as HSN80326, this is an AS568-326 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.6 in (40.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.02 in (51.31 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.
It resists petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.
Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
Stocked as HSN80326 and sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.0041 g. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. For a size or compound outside the standard catalog, APG can quote from a print or sample.
