The HSN80371 is an AS568-371 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or strong oxidizing acids.
