The HSN80431 is an AS568-431 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.775 in (146.69 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters will shorten service life.
