HSN (HNBR) 80 568-433

HSN80433 is an AS568-433 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.475 in (139.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.025 in (153.04 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and heavy-duty powertrain.
