568-009 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90009 is an AS568-009 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The compound resists ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or ketones call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
