568-114 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-114 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90114. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or strong oxidizing acids.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
