568-216 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90216 is an AS568-216 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material holds up against modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
