HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
