This o-ring is supplied in AS568-241 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.859 in (98.02 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.137 in (105.08 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90241. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, excellent abrasion and tear strength. This material stands up to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or ketones are present.
