568-340 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90340 is an AS568-340 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
