568-013 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the HSN90013, an AS568-013 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.426 in (10.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.566 in (14.38 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or ketones will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include automotive air conditioning, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
